There's an abortion that really haunts our main character through a lot of the book. And i think all the women in building stories have issues with their body. There's some great scenes of people having sex and people doing fun things to their own bodies. I'm just wonder, do you go into different modes of feeling when you're creating these different scenarias? Sure. You know, there's a certain amount of embarrassment to fiction, i think. Or i think john updyke said he used to read books looking for the little secret moments, you know, that are hidden in there.
