I don't view politics as a key part of what I think it means to lead a meaningful life or to have a flourishing society. It's probably better to be passionate about something, to love the people around you. What role should identity play in 2050? There's one idea where it just doesn't play any role. Another is no, actually, your script of identities are always going to matter a lot and we'll spend all of our time celebrating each other's groups.
