Sia: I think tenant unions can provide that same sort of solidarity and collective activity and dignity at home to people who have small landlords. Renee: We don't really want to only think about tenant organizing for people who live in buildings that are owned by corporate landlords or even mid-sized landlords. This is really critical that the power relationships between tenants and landlords period are bad, Sia says.
