Developing Rhetorical Skills as a Writer

Earlier in your career you were trying to like develop your flair as a writer and just be able to write really beautiful things. It seems like in the transition to being understated you're like those are all skills that you can deploy when it's useful but you don't want to use them for their own sake. I'm reminded of like with those like three skills or so that we ended up working on which was sort of useful for conveying different experiences meditation and um yeah I think maybe I touched on that previously in previous writing classes or something like that.
