What's the Consensus Thing?

When you become established, there are established things that you do. There is an expectation of following particular process or rules within the company. If you veer off those, there's a tremendous amount of career risk for you if it doesn't work out. But even in a world where the innovation is expected, so obviously one of the nice things with a start up is there is nothing established. So you're supposed to do these weird things and try these weird things. That's still the case though, on on a personal decision making level.
