Timing in Communication

Timing is not waiting. Timing is actually going through something and what you go through is different from time to time. It's based on the idea that for me anyway, the best kind of acting is going through an experience that's very similar to real life. I don't say my next line in the play because it's written in the script and I've memorized it. But one of the things I was always surprised by is when directors said you really have to listen to what the other person's saying. You can't have spontaneity if I'm not listening to you and responding to you.
