i want to talk about the war on ucrane, obviously. But before we do that, i'd love to just talk a little bit about the history your work and the history of you working in russian media. When were you in journalism school? It was 25, early two thousand, two thousand five, almost 20 years ago. And it was definitely another country. Iam very curious about what the atmosphere was like a decade ago, or in two thousand five. In the soviet union there was no freedom of the press, and then to day, there is noFreedom of the press under putton.
