Is There an Argument That We've Got Less of the Good?
How long does it take for that kind of ecosystem to re-colonize, especially the good bacteria? It depends on how many microbes you have to start off with. There's also some really cool studies looking at tribes in Africa and in the rainforest in South America. They have a lot more different types of good bacteria on the skin of those individuals than we doKind of in more Western countries. So, we may be making it worse? Potentially, yes.
