I think Jesus absolutely saw himself as a prophet of the coming kingdom. He thought the kingdom of God was soon to arrive and people needed to prepare for it. There's this one saying that almost certainly Jesus said I think, which is he's talking to the 12 disciples. If that saying goes back to Jesus, if you're trying to ask what would a Christian make up? A Christian's not going to make up a later saying where Jesus is saying that Judas is going to be one of the 12 rulers.
