I'm deeply pessimistic about the popularity contest that is creating art for the AI-driven world. For some years, we tried to get the sense of bodily identification into avatars and the whole question was, how deeply immersed can you get? It may be pretty far away before we could do something with brain-computer interfaces and say sub-anesthetic doses of ketamine,. I also had a serious problem with a slip disc and my lower spine at the time. And after floating in that tank, this was gone for six weeks. Wow.
