Ezekiel's Watchman
The chapter is divided from the part of the book with which it has the strongest affinities by intervening material. It might be seen to function as a bridge between chapters one to 24 and 34 to forty eight. In verses 17 o 21, i have made you a watchman for the house of israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning. If i say to the wicked, you shall surely die. But if you warn the righteous person not to sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live because you took warning. And you will have delivered your soul here"
