The Speedy Trial Act and the Schedule Order
The scheduling order is really quite standard because there is a speedy trial act. It's not to be confused with the speedy trial right in the Constitution, which we talked about several weeks ago. The Supreme Court has also said that society has an interest in a speedy trial as well.
