Hedge Fund Trading - Is Machine Learning the Answer?
Many highly successful traders use a completely mechanical approach to entries and exits. There are some really good mathematical tools, machine learning being one of them. In my case, and many of the hedge fund folks I work with, they are what are called hybrid traders. So you are using a back tested edge, but then trading that in a discretionary manner. That's called a hybrid approach. And that's become increasingly common in the hedge fund world.
