What's the Difference Between the Oral and the Written Experience?

In theory, you read this before coming to class. And o, you've had an experience of it as a text on a page. Now you've sat for forty minutes and listened to it as phoniums that come in and out of your ears. So how was this different for you? Every single student says something to the effect of, this was totally different. I heard different things. There were different emphases. I noticed different aspects of the story. Or because, you know, this was read by a female voice and this was read By a male voice, i heard different things,. or you don't think there is. It's like we go back and read the passage
