Blink 182: A Dark Song About a Dead Drummer
There's a dissonance between those catchy, bright melodies that you're talking about and how dark the lyrics are at the beginning. The song is essentially their letter to him in a way, which is dark. But that's why I think this is great. It's timeless and it fits in the Blink tradition in any year.
