The Stock Market Is Shooting Up
When COVID hits and we do the lockdown, you can see real GDP plummet. The stock market does come down a bit, but it doesn't plummet. And look at what it's doing when unemployment is 9%. Under normal circumstances, that's Armageddon 9% unemployment. It's shooting up. Why? In this second to worst economic upheaval ever, would the stock market be rising like that? That doesn't make sense.
