Coming to New York was intimidating, he says. The comedy scene in the city is very competitive and friendly at the same time. There's also like a lot of 11 p.m. Mike's that I remember doing where anybody could walk in off the street and just do time. He doesn't go to as many open mics but even Later on when he was going open mics to kind of die out a little bit.
