Augustine called sexual lust the most dangerous kind of lust because it was the most physically exciting. He says this lust seems power not only over the whole body and not only from the outside but also internally. It disturbs the whole man when the mental emotion combines and mingles with physical craving resulting in a pleasure surpassing all physical delights.
