The Easter Egg Hunt

Easter of 1995 and I had just turned six years old a month before. My mom took me to an Easter egg hunt that was being held at a local church. A few moments later I saw someone standing just behind a small bush with their back to me. The girl had been living in our village for quite some time but her parents didn't want to let her go anymore.
