The TIA: A Low Memory Computer System

The Atari VCS is a three-bit computer. The TIA chip was memory mapped into the 6507's address bus. This means that programmers just have to muck around with memory to set up graphics. There were certain addresses in memory that didn't connect to RAM or ROM, but instead to the TIA itself.
