In China with millet cultivation right is like first it's just part of a broad spectrum subsistence strategy where they're getting all the nuts. Then you see a little bit of millet start to show up and then there's a gap in the record and the next time you see it they're doing some full blown cultivation of it. I think the archaeological core of that here is when you start seeing the food processing technology come along with the appearance of those plants that are at the sites where they're outside of naturallike they've changed logically. You can map that out, come up with a coherent argument for the economic backdrop. Like how do we process things to maximize what we can get out
