The first time we read of paul is in acts chapter seven. And i wonder if at any point the devil snuck on to the scene, said, paul, where's your god? Now paul gets his choice to say, how i'm i gong to respond in the situation. That's the first time paul is stoned. In the scriptures, he would be beaten and flogged bit hfirst time he faced major persecution. But it was not the first time he had an experience with stoning,. because it was not a good one for him.
