How to Make Sure Your Money Is Insured
Janice the basketball player from Greece who lived through the Greek bank failures of the financial crisis of 15 years ago was much in the news several years ago. He has I think he has 50 or 60 different bank accounts at different financial institutions where he doesn't keep more than a quarter million in any one of them plays for if I remember right the Milwaukee Bucks and he does this because he wants to make sure he's got full FDIC insurance. Unless Congress adopts a new totality kind of regime where any money you have deposit a financial institution automatically covered you want to think this through.
