A lot of times managers get confused with leaders, and leaders get confused with managers. I think it's very tough to be in a senior management roll without some aspect of leadership. And i do think it important to have leaders who are not managers as well. But there's some manager levels where actually being great at the management part is way more important than the leadership part.
