The Good and the Bad of Open Source
Open source is a great way to get more eyes on what you're trying to do, get more input from folks with different experiences. It's really hard to get funded especially for a long period of time and the reality is that people's time costs money. I've experienced burnout before but it's just a recipe for burnout when your project is finished. Sometimes projects are put on the shelf because they don't have good enough boundaries.
