Helping Children Develop Empathy

Pre schoolers tend to be egocentric, centric and dicotomous. We want to help children at this stage develop empathy without invalidating how they're feeling. Children are going to get into situations where their egocentrism is not helpful. You can use playtime and imagination to teach communication.
