Is CSE a Better Cathode?

CSE catheters last the same amount of time whether you place a CSE or an epidural, which is well over five hours. They found if a CSE was going to fail there, one place for labor, it was most likely to fail right away and then for 30 to 40 minutes. And that's probably because of technical error, meaning that the technique was just not done correctly from the get-go. When they looked at when catheters needed to go from the labor room to C section, there was a 2% failure rate in the epidural group versus a 10%.
