Investing in Asset Management - The Hardest Decision in My Life
I was a foreign expat in my own country, came back to set up the wealth management company. Lehman Brothers happened after we had set up a company. I said, boss, this is going nowhere in a hurry. The markets had crashed. So I told the company that I think I'll take some gardening leave and I took us on a sabbatical year. In about four or five months at Axel Bini funded two startups he'd done with friends of mine: Flipkart and Live world plus 200 business points.
