The Importance of Social Ascension and Submission in Leadership

There are many different degrees of ascendance and submission in different people. It is an interesting fact, however, that it and a good omen for the need of the armed forces that submissive persons can more readily learn to be ascendant than ascendant persons can learn to be submissive. Both these traits, of course, have great military benefits.
