Denmark is apparently trying to go plant-based as part of an annual review aimed at helping Denmark achieve its goal of 70% reduction in carbon emissions by the year 2030. The Danish Climate Council has recommended a 33% tax for beef and said that two thirds of the meat consumed by Danes should be replaced by plant-based foods.
