In a world in which all are made equal, all human scene is equal, all states of pain are pleasure measurable, which suggests some sort of universal standard, right? And the value or worth of all lives and all ways of living measured as roughly being the same. You know, who would wish to command or obey? If that's the case, the concept becomes a mere injustice. In the wake of our egalitarian and utilitarian, you know, revolutions in thinking, commanding and obeying falls by the wayside, and the order of rank collapses. The passage ends with the refrain, we have invented happiness, say the last man. And they blink.
