The UK Government Mustn't Increase the Windfall Tax

Shell has been paying very small or even negative tax bills in the UK for years. Shell got a total tax bill of $520 million in the EU, so nearly four times as much. Exxon is actually suing the EU over this tax. It's not even like Shell is using all of this extra money that it's made this year to invest in a cleaner future and greener energy. Only 14% of his capital spending last year was on renewables.
