The Self With a Capital

The self is meant to be that superordinate, inner, unknown, divine center of the psyche which we have to explore all our lifetime. Nobody knows what the self in him or her is or what it wants. The only way to adequately speak about the self is to speak metaphorically or poetically. In a symbol like this, frankly, is much more meaningful than the generic and more abstract term self.
