The Treaty of Meledus

Treaty of Meledus was a one-sided agreement between the Persian king and the Spartans. The treaty gave Persia control over not only Asia Minor, but also Thessaly and Boisha which had meat eyes in the Persian wars. It laid down that the two sides should work together to prevent the Athenians from collecting foros from their subject allies. Basically, the war would now become a joint enterprise between the king of Persia and the Peloponnesian League to defeat Athens.
