Joseph: One of the really interesting things about computer games is that when you're supposed to be defeating the what do they call it the boss the boss and you die you just simply respawn. I think computer games are compelling in part because you feel the emotion of the defeat but of course you don't really suffer real life consequences which brings us back to dreams yes. We have a way that we were put into a kind of game that requires a strategic adaptation that the self thinks is important to us while we're in the game, Joseph says. And then we wake up and we're like oh that wolf didn't really bite my leg off or I didn't really fall off that cliff
