The Origins of Oker

Oker is a reddish pigment that can also be yellow or other colors. Early evidence dates between 500,000 to 300,000 years old. It's found in southern northern, eastern Africa and all over the place. The most famous piece of Oker is probably from Blombus Cave south of South Africa.
