I studied vehicle dynamics and suspension design in college. As soon as I left college, I started working directly in motorsport for companies like ground control and Dynan building out cars that you may have seen on speed vision. In about 2007 2008 timeframe, I decided to exit racing and kind of get a regular sit down job. One of the first jobs I got was in early 2008, he joined a small startup trying to make an electric Lotus which turned out to be Tesla Motors.
