The Role of the Yoke in Stoicism
The yoke was a sign that you were a disciple. You were bearing the burden of your teacher, not any other rabbis. And I think it's such a beautiful picture that Christ breaks the bars of the yoke so that we're walking in tandem with him voluntarily. That gets into Jordan Peterson's whole thing about how, and maybe that does fit with stoicism.
