How Scottish Does This Poem Feel to You?
I'm just going to see if how many of the sort of Scots words I can spot in this one. Bani Dan D definitely has some Scots words in it. Like, well, deal, deal is actually in both of them. What else have we got? Koothey. That's terrible. So like conning and sly, deuce, I mean, sweet. The Walter Scott one, to be honest, is not as Scots as it could be either. A burns poem might read as a bit more Scots, I think. And the Gu Hongming one, even, even less so.
