How to Be a Good Artist
I had been doing a lot of fan art and everything, but I wasn't really copying any artist. And once I wanted to do my own stuff, I didn't really bother too much with anatomy or being too precise with light and or color or anything. Learning all of that, yes, it feels well, you need it in order to achieve certain styles. If you're going for something super stylized, cartoony style, maybe you don't need to be very, very precise with anatomy. But if you want something more like legend of the creepy type of art, of course, you will need a lot of knowledge on anatomy and color and light and composition and all of that
