I Don't Like Realism, but I Read to Escape From Life
Ruthie Meade says she felt marked by femaleness from an early age. She wanted to read books whose structures were so wild that they enabled her to escape what i find when i read books like very cold people. The book told me some things i needed to know in order to continue growing up. Now, iam about to turn 70, and i think i am still continuing to grow up. I tend to think we all are.
