The Four-Day Week Is a Good Idea
The trials results showed the switch to a four-day week didn't affect the productivity of the companies involved. It did lead to an average increase in revenue weighted by company size of 1.4%. One of the criticisms levelled at this trial is that the companies that took part are self-selecting. You've got to remember this is going to be quite a biased sample because the companies are signing up to it are the ones that will work for.
