Is There a Layer Two of Etherium?

Matic is more of a sister like or side chain, thougrh, not really a layer two in that respect. They check point in on a therium, and so they inherit some of etheriums security for finality. But matic is secured by its own set of validators, separate from eth a day to day. So there are some issues with trying to manage fungibility. Ad, we've mostly figure that stuff out. Is just now a matter getting it in cot and implementing all of it....
