The Rise of Micro Schools in Higher Ed
Alex Castellanos: I think this idea of desegregating the education experience into micro schools speaks to many of the trends we've seen in higher ed. People are really less and less interested in sort of the big black box degree that's just the big stamp on your resume, he says. 10 universities have said they're going to try to go to three-year degrees for people who don't want a traditional four year program. He says these kinds of programs will become more appealing as employers look towards skills based learning.
