More than 16 hundred notse germans were secretly recruited to develop armaments. The recruitment of these experts was sanctioned by the us Joint chiefs of staff. With this transfer of scientific and technical knowledge, a large number of chosen notsy scientists migrated to the united states. Others remained in germany, where they were ultimately recruited by german companies.
