Folklore - Oral, Customary and Material
Folklores often use the term ganres to refer to the types of folklore m and they are broken down into three categories. So we have oral, customary and material. The key element with the oral genre is repetition. All of those are vital to the nature of the folcloric pece itself. And i'm thinking of a child ballads, which were traditional scottish and english folk ballads that were collected by francis child in the 19th century.
