George chapman also, as one of his poetic projects, completed an unfinished poem called hero and leander that had been started by christopher marlowe. So apparently this ghost is coming to him and giving him bad reports, or bad intelligence, as the poem says. And we have forty more sonnets further beyond this one, number 86. It seems regardless of exactly how this all happened and who the individual was, the relationship did still continue.
