The Role of FES PET in Invasive Lobular Breast Cancer

Pilot study assessing the role of FES PET for invasive lobular breast carcinoma demonstrated promising results. Two sites of DCS in the contralateral breast were detected by FES PET, but not MRI. Further study is warranted to evaluate the clinical potential of FESPET in everyday practice.
