I'm a huge believer in the process of get an idea right. If you cannot write out your idea, it's a bad idea. You haven't got it yet or it was a little flight of fancy. But if you can write it out cogently and it makes sense, then what my grandfather suggested doing is this idea of premeditating which is here's all of the ways this could go right. And then there's another line when it goes right, will it affect me positively or negatively? Here's all the ways it can go wrong.
