Marked Down Editor - Is Byword a Marking Editor?

Byword was the first time i saw command option up arrow to gradually increase a selection. My minimum valuable product requirements for a marked on editor was that it had that kind of power without having buttons for it. For me, my number one thing with a marked down editor is when i select a text and i hit a bracket, i don't want it to deleave the text. If not, i'm out. And if you're writing the mark down, you definitely do. I stand by everything in this article which includes auto paring and rapping - even though some people still contact me because they were so impressed at how well-designed Byword is.
